Valley Day Hatch Cover

Valley Canoe Products brand 8 inch Day Hatch Cover fits Necky brand kayaks, some older Wilderness Systems and other assorted sea kayaks. Use as a replacement hatch cover. Made of rubber and fits a raised hatch opening rim, 8 inches outside diameter, like a Tupperware lid. The Cover is 8 7/8 inches outside diameter, 7 3/4 inside diameter. Made by Valley Canoe Products, of Nottingham England, for Necky Kayaks with the Necky logo on it. Fits all VCP 8 inch round hatch rims, on any kayak outfitted with 8 inch VCP hatches. Common on British style sea kayaks, a Day Hatch is the small hatch behind the cockpit of a sea kayak, but this cover is used on the bow in many cases, and on some sterns.
